Clinical and Translational Research Center

About Us

The Clinical and Translational Research Center of the Charles Drew University is an outpatient clinical facility that supports the quest for the knowledge and understanding of the diseases that disproportionately affect the minority populations in the Southwest area of Los Angeles. As a part of the mission of the University to conduct education, research and clinical services in the context of community engagement, the Center seeks and supports mutually beneficial collaborative partnerships with community service agencies. We support the care for the underserved populations by sharing educational and research resources that enhance the therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities of the health service agencies in the Southwest area of Los Angeles. We welcome innovative collaborative opportunities that deepen the understanding of minority health concerns and advance the development of solutions to health disparities.
